Nikolai Andreev: Interview for Sputnik Radio

Nikolai answered one of the important questions for our industry: How is the event going in 2020?

Reporter: "I sincerely empathize with the event of an industry that has found itself in one of the toughest positions. What do you expect from the upcoming New Year? Are there any preliminary expectations for corporate cuts this year?

  • Thank you for your moral support. We have now completed a study on our key clients. And it turned out that somewhere 50% decided to cancel the events altogether, 50% are waiting for the end of November to better understand the situation. At the same time, some companies have already ordered events with us.

And those who have ordered, how will they hold these events? Will they sit at the table wearing masks and gloves? It's the same idea of the same social contacts, the crowd of people. And it could be a breeding ground for coronavirus.

  • There are a lot of nuances. We are preparing several formats. First, winter fun on the street. This format is hilarious and quite safe. Also, some companies have resorted to the help of online platforms, and we will prepare for them a script and boxes with branded cocktails, so that people feel together and fun.

Please tell us more about street events. What will it look like?

  • We consider the Suburban sites, as there are fewer restrictions. It will be activity on the street with several zones, for example, curling, snowmen and so on. There will be large warm tents, so that at a safe distance from each other people can enjoy a buffet.

Well, yes, Moscow and the suburbs are different restrictive zones. MKAD has moved, and there are already sanatoriums, boarding houses and you can hold an active New Year. Do you think the event will survive the industry, show business, leading corporates this difficult time?

  • Actually, here's how to look. On the one hand, people feel sorry for, and on the other
side, you have to look ahead, diversify your income and have something for a rainy day. In general, artists have a minimal cost of existence, so that those who conducted a rational financial policy, will survive. But, of course, in fact since March our activity is paralyzed.

And open the curtain of the financial question to us. In a large company, where the corporate is visited by 1000 people, what is the order of prices?

  • For past events, 50% of the cost is food and floor rental, while the other 50% are entertainment activities. On average, it turns out from 6000 to 18,000 rubles per person.

Many managers, perhaps, now can breathe a sigh that will save several million.

  • You know, we did a study on how a Russian person treats New Year's corporates. On the one hand, it is a business task - to reward people, to inspire, to strengthen corporate culture, and on the other hand, it is important for people to be on such a holiday to understand that his company is all right.
