Description

The second Saturday of August is the day our country athlete.

The story of this holiday is spent in the first decades of Soviet rule. At that time the Communist propagandists have introduced a slogan: "a healthy spirit in a healthy body". And this slogan was picked up by all. The country lived in unison.

Athletes have become popular and respected citizens. In all, without exception, celebratory demonstrations attended by athletes from different directions.

In higher education institutions to open departments of physical education. And later came special sports schools and institutes that train future champions.

Profession athlete became popular when authorities decided to introduce sports society.

Today in every school and in every professional education devoted to the place of physical education.
