21 may 1731 year Empress Anna of Russia signed a decree on settlement of Ohotska and organization of its marina and shipyard. All of our country on this day congratulates troops which are relevant to the Pacific fleet.
Then it was created the first Russian Far East Naval Division. Since then, our Navy is continuously present in the waters of the Pacific Ocean.
May 5, 1999 year Pacific fleet commander established an annual feast day: 21 May-Day Pacific fleet.

The fleet includes the missile, nuclear and diesel-powered submarines, submarine strategic destination, numerous warships, raketonosnuju, fighter and antisubmarine aircraft, as well as coastal and land forces.
