International youth day

Description

12 August International Youth Day is celebrated, which was created by UN General Assembly resolution. This significant event occurred December 17, 1999, and yet a year earlier was held in Lisbon World Conference of Ministers responsible for youth-and there it was the first time a proposal for the establishment of such a holiday.

The first official youth day was held August 12, 2000 year. The main concept ideas, disseminate knowledge about the activities of the global programme for young people. So the holiday is not only hilarious, but also socially-useful and important for everyone!

Traditional events

The annual Festival are devoted to a specific theme (for example, in 2017 this "youth builds world") and its undoing at seminars, conferences and forums held around the world.
