March 16 in Russia marks Day of education for economic security units in the system of the Ministry of the Interior. On this day in the year 1937, the Division started its activity to combat theft of Socialist property. Was LAUNCHED within the Directorate-General of the militia of the NKVD. The Department indicates that in the year 2010 in the Russian Federation revealed more than 1.3 thousand crimes somehow related to washing step» money. 712 of them are crimes on a large scale and large scale. The Department estimates that the amount laundered, i.e. legalized illegally obtained funds, completed criminal cases totaled more than 1 420 million. rubles.
