The day of nuclear industry

The day of the nuclear industry is a young feast for our country. He emerged a little more than ten years ago in the year 2005. Then the Ministry of Atomic Energy of Russia proposed to commemorate the merits of domestic nuclear scientists at the State level.

Until that time, Atomic Scientists honored 22 December, together with employees of the energy industry. But this holiday called the day of Energy and nuclear energy had only indirect relevance. Following the Ministry's intervention this injustice has been corrected. The State went to meet the wishes of the scientific community, and nuclear engineers have received their own day.

The official celebration was scheduled for September 28. This date was chosen consciously. On this day in the postwar years in Russia founded the first laboratory for the study of the atomic nucleus and complete work in this direction.

Nuclear engineers are complex and important intellectual work. From their work largely depends on the capacity and credibility of the entire country.
