Under the Day forest worker should understand workers ' holiday in the area of forestry industry. It is celebrated in Russia, Ukraine, Belarus and Kyrgyzstan.

When the notes?

Traditionally it is celebrated on September 17, while the third Sunday of the first autumn month is the main landmark in all of the above CIS countries. Back in 1966, the USSR authorities had ordered vsegosudarstvennom. The international day is celebrated on March 21 a forester.

The main purpose of the holiday is always a reminder of how important it is to keep the forest resources of the planet and small motherland. Almost a third of the land (as many as 38 million square kilometers around the world!) is covered by forests. If you do not give proper care this type of landscape, the entire biological world will be destroyed. That is why the "forest" of the profession are so important.
