The day of juridical workers

The day of juridical workers-one of the youngest holidays in the modern history of Russia, it was established only in 2008 year. Earlier there was no such uniting all workers legal, days, there were only professional holidays for separate legal entities.

Lawyer's day is celebrated on 3 December. The choice of this date is not accidental and has historical roots. In 1864, was adopted a series of new judicial documents, which became the basis of judicial transformations, so in pre-revolutionary Russia lawyers thought this day of its professional holiday.

The tradition of the day of the lawyer

Lawyer's day has a little story, so did not have time to acquire a sufficient number of traditions. But for many years in this day is handing the highest legal "lawyer of the year" award. It was approved by the Decree of the President of the RUSSIAN FEDERATION and is awarded in several categories. Today its laureates are already dozens of leaders in the legal field.

Lawyer's day is celebrated not only at the State level, nationwide celebrations are held, meetings and concerts dedicated to this feast, and awards prizes to the best workers of jurisprudence across Russia.
