International day of Radiology

Radiology is one of medical science that studies use ionizing waves to detect and treat all kinds of diseases, as well as those of pathological conditions and diseases that appear in case of contact with radioactive waves.

After scientists found a new kind of matter-electromagnetic waves, they think over the way their application in human life. A sufficient number of experiments have been conducted. Some of them were dangerous, but some were favourable. But it is thanks to them now, this method of treatment and Diagnostics freely used in medicine and gives good performance for the return of people's health.

The idea of holding such a day was from the European society of Radiology (ESR), the American College of Radiology (ACR) and the Radiological Society of North America (RSNA). To find the number of celebration of such a day, scientists have turned to history. After Radiology people immediately goes association with x-rays, which was named in honor of the scientist who discovered these waves-Wilhelm Conrad Röntgen. 8 November 1895 year Wilhelm concluded and finally gave to understand what are the x-wave.

For the first time the international day was celebrated November 8, 2012 year Radiology, and since then is celebrated each year in the world medicine. The feast takes place differently: organize lectures, conferences, symposiums, round tables and open doors day in hospitals.
