World humanitarian day

The UN General Assembly has proclaimed the year August 19 December 11, 2008 "world humanitarian day. The date was chosen not accidentally. After the explosion at the UN headquarters in Baghdad killed people, and among them is the UN worker in Iraq. This is the day that assist needy people despite different situations and dangers. Day of humanity, kindness, and compassion that is needed in this world.

The main objective of this-to promote and enhance the international activities of the society in helping around the world. I remember the humanitarian workers who, despite the danger, sacrificing lives, help others. These people are its quick reaction save millions of lives. The goal of this day is a reminder that there are people in this world who are in need of assistance. On this day the UN considers a new proposal by the noble mission of humanitarian assistance.

The world humanitarian day rallies, where information and urged to join "noble front to provide assistance. I remember the people who died saving the life of another person. Hosts charity taxes, auctions in aid of the needy, conferences, meetings and a variety of themed events. In all parts of the world every day is replenished ranks of humanitarian aides. It's messengers who demonstrate support and solidarity. For them, politics, religion, and race are not barriers. Unites them kindness and sincere desire to help.
