Teacher's day

Description

For the first time in the USSR about the day the teacher talking in the distant year of 1965. That's when it was decided to celebrate the day of education on September 29. This date was considered an official holiday and commemorated annually by all educators regardless of job responsibilities.

After the establishment of the Russian Federation of teacher's day became a separate holiday. Initially, the date of the celebration felt every first day off in October. However, for convenience, it was decided to make a single teacher's day, which is held annually on October 5.
